Hi,

My sugggestion is that do not just restart the daemon,
try to shutdown the daemon first, and start the daemon
again.

> [xxxx@xxxxx /etc]# ps aux | grep name
> named     1604  0.0  0.6  2512 1656 ?        S    19:01   0:00 named -u named
> root      1611  0.0  0.1  1360  508 pts/0    S    19:01   0:00 grep name
> [xxxx@xxxxxx /etc]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/named restart
> Shutting down named: kill: (1604) - No such pid          [FAILED]
> Starting named:                                            [  OK  ]
